No need to complete a P85. This can be done on your tax return.

Q1a. Were you employed before you left the UK? NoYes

Later you will be asked to fill in form P85.

You do not need a P45 / Statement of Earnings. However, you will be asked to fill in form P85.

Q1b. Do you have a copy of your P45 / Statement of Earnings? NoYes

No further form needed for this purpose.

You will need to get a statement of earnings letter from your employer so you can claim a tax refund. As part of the process we will generate a form for you to pass to your former employer.

No need to fill HMRC Interest Form (R105).

Later, you will be asked to fill in a HMRC Interest Form (R105).

Q3. Do you have a UK property that you will be renting out when when you become an expat? NoYes

No need to fill Form NRL1 for this purpose.

Q3a. Have you told HMRC that you are to become a non-resident landlord? NoYes

Later, you will be asked to fill form NRL1.

As you have already filled in Form NRL1 so no further forms needed for this purpose.

Q4. Have you paid National Insurance Contributions for over 30 years? NoYes

You may want to pay from £2.70 per week. Later, you will be asked to fill in form NI38.

No need to pay further NIC.
